Privacy Policy
This policy describes data handling in the Android and iOS game VORTRYN: Rise of the Cores, offered by an individual developer under the VORTRYN name. For privacy questions, email privacy@vortryn.com.
Local and cloud saves
Earned game currency, XP, Core inventory, upgrades, profile name and Story/Arena/Merge state are stored on your device; language/audio preferences are local too. Supported versions try to sync the gameplay save automatically at launch and reconnection when internet and a platform session are available. Initial sign-in or permission may be needed. A copy may be stored in Google Play Games Saved Games on Android or Game Center/iCloud on iOS. Android and iOS saves are separate. This gameplay copy is not on a save server operated by us; there is no separate VORTRYN username/password. The file includes a one-way hash of the platform player identity, not email, password or raw platform identity. A hash does not guarantee anonymity. A gameplay save is not payment proof or the authority for paid balances. Earned offline progress remains local; deletion or reinstall can lose unuploaded progress and does not automatically delete the platform copy.
Prepared identity and purchase verification
Paid purchases are disabled; the prepared VORTRYN identity and commerce service is not live. If enabled, verified Google Play Games or Game Center proof would open a session bound to the same platform, app and player without a separate username/password. Platform proof and store receipts/transaction tokens would be processed for verification. Pseudonymous player/native-account bindings, session/replay records, store-account mappings, order and transaction references, purchase, paid-balance/spend, entitlement, refund and delivery history may be retained. Hashed identities are linked pseudonymous data, not anonymous. These financial records are separate from platform gameplay saves. The service must not open before retention and actual deletion operations are accepted; we do not promise an established retention duration or a completed deletion service.
Crash diagnostics
The normal mobile build uses Firebase Crashlytics to investigate stability issues. Google may process crash and exception details, app version, operating system and device information, installation identifiers and technical context such as game mode. We do not set a player name or email as the Crashlytics user ID; diagnostics do not determine game progress or rewards.
Crashlytics diagnostics and platform gameplay sync are not enabled or disabled by UMP ad choices or ATT permission. Analytics event collection is disabled in the current configuration.
Ads and choices
The game includes the Google Mobile Ads SDK, Google's UMP consent flow and a Unity Ads adapter for AdMob mediation. When configured for live use, AdMob may consider Unity Ads as another ad source. No fill from one source does not guarantee an ad from another.
The app currently runs in Demo mode and does not use live ad units. At launch, it requests a consent status update through Google UMP. When ad requests are allowed, the Google Mobile Ads SDK requests test rewarded and interstitial ads from Google's sample units. These requests do not mean live AdMob revenue or Unity Ads mediation fill.
Even in Demo mode, the Google Mobile Ads SDK may collect and share IP address (which can indicate approximate location), app and ad interactions, diagnostics, and available device or app identifiers (including Android advertising ID and app set ID) for ad delivery, measurement and fraud prevention. Processing can vary with device settings and privacy choices. If live ads are enabled, we will update this policy and store disclosures for the active sources and data use. Listing a potential partner does not mean every partner receives your data.
Google UMP may show a consent screen where required; privacy options can be opened from Settings > Ad Privacy in the game when available. When shown, the consent screen lists the selected potential ad partners. If a US states message becomes available in the active configuration, eligible US users can manage choices about the sale or sharing of personal information and targeted advertising. These options are not guaranteed to appear automatically at every launch. Choices do not necessarily prevent restricted or contextual ads. We will recheck this policy and store data disclosures before enabling live ads.
On iOS, access to the advertising identifier (IDFA) depends on Apple's App Tracking Transparency (ATT) system permission. ATT is separate from Google UMP ad and privacy choices. If UMP permits ad requests, ads may still be requested without IDFA after ATT is denied or restricted; this does not necessarily mean the ads are non-personalized. The ad SDK is not initialized while the ATT decision is undetermined. You can manage ATT permission in iOS Settings.
The ATT waiting safeguard applies from iOS test build 1.0.0 (6) onward; older test builds may behave differently.

Prepared server verification of ad rewards
Server-side verification of ad rewards (SSV) is not live; current ads are Demo/test ads. If the live path is enabled later, AdMob may send signed completion callbacks, including Unity Ads mediation. The service records an account-bound request ID, placement, gameplay-intent hash, pseudonymous tag/nonce and provider transaction hash in replay-resistant verification/delivery journals. A signed authorization alone does not mean game currency was delivered: the earned reward is applied separately to the local gameplay save, not the paid commerce balance. Retention and deletion need separate operational acceptance; no running callback, host or native-device delivery is claimed.
Purchases, contact and website
Paid in-app purchases are not currently enabled. If you email us, we use your address and message to respond to your request.
Only with your permission, this site uses Google Analytics 4 to measure visits and page usage. No Google measurement code loads before consent or after refusal. With consent, page visits, device/browser information and the referring website's domain are sent to Google; Google also processes your connection's IP address. Google may process data in other countries. Ads personalization and Google signals are disabled. Measurement cookies last at most 180 days; your consent/refusal choice is stored in your browser for 180 days. Withdraw consent using Measurement preferences. Withdrawal stops future measurement; it does not automatically delete data already sent. There is no account login or contact form. Language preferences are stored locally. Güzel Hosting may process IP addresses and standard access logs when serving the site. Data requests: privacy@vortryn.com.
